Constance Grieves represents companies and individuals in complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts. Her practice focuses on high-stakes business disputes, including fraud, business tort, employment, intellectual property, and False Claims Act matters, with significant experience representing financial institutions. She also handles a broad range of disputes across industries, including matters involving manufacturers and technology companies. Constance prepares and examines fact and expert witnesses, argues substantive motions, and plays a central role in trial preparation and evidentiary hearings.

Through her pro bono work, Constance has secured family reunification and negotiated favorable outcomes in complex criminal matters.
Before joining Massey & Gail, Constance clerked for Hon. Robert W. Gettleman, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Constance earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where she served on the Hinton Moot Court Board and as Secretary of the Chicago Law Foundation. She received the Thomas R. Mulroy Prize for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy and the Debra Cafaro Full Tuition Scholarship and completed the Pro Bono Service Initiative.

- Represented a major financial institution in multi-million-dollar litigation arising from its provision of banking services to Jeffrey Epstein. The matter resolved on confidential terms shortly before trial.
- Represented relators in multiple multi-million-dollar Illinois False Claims Act actions against nationwide home improvement companies alleging failure to collect Illinois sales tax on installed appliances.
- Secured a temporary restraining order for a company in a complex employment dispute. The matter resolved on confidential terms shortly thereafter.
- Represented a manufacturer of GPS tracking devices in trademark infringement litigation, achieving a favorable settlement.
- Represented a major steel manufacturer in a negligent misrepresentation case during a one-week jury trial and secured a partial directed verdict.
- Represented a corporate client in complex copyright infringement litigation and negotiated a resolution prior to trial.
- Defended a financial institution against a multi-million-dollar fraud claim that resolved on favorable confidential terms shortly before trial.
