Kenneth Goldman advises companies on intellectual property strategy, with a focus on patents involving chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and energy-related technologies. His practice spans patent prosecution, strategic counseling, and complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes.

Ken has more than three decades of experience in private practice, government, and in-house roles at leading life sciences and technology companies, including Chiron, Cell Genesys, Dynavax, Schering-Plough, and Novartis. He has managed global patent portfolios and coordinated parallel litigation and post-grant proceedings across the United States and Europe, aligning strategy across jurisdictions in high-value disputes.

His experience includes patent litigation, inter partes reviews, and interference proceedings, as well as overseeing multi-country infringement actions involving the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, and Australia.

Ken previously served as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, representing the United States in federal courts and handling complex statutory and regulatory matters. He also clerked for Hon. Milton I. Shadur of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
